Professional Background

I am a native of Petal, Mississippi, and have called the Gulf Coast home for much of my life. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2009 and a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Therapy from William Carey University in 2012. My professional journey began as an adult services case manager in 2009, followed by several years as a child, adolescent, and family clinician, where I worked closely with DHS and the Harrison County Youth Court. In 2017, I served as a Military Family Life Counselor, supporting service members and their families in the U.S. Navy. Since opening my private practice in 2015, I have expanded my work to integrate both traditional counseling and holistic healing.I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and board-qualified supervisor in Mississippi, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I am also a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, and a level two Reiki practitioner. In addition, I hold specialization certifications in Mind-Body Medicine and Biofeedback from Saybrook University, and I completed advanced holistic training through the Holistic Arts Institute.

Therapeutic Approach

My work is rooted in Integrative Biofeedback, which blends science-based nervous system training with counseling insights and holistic mind-body practices. I often incorporate Internal Family Systems, Transpersonal Psychology, Inner Child work, and Shadow Work, along with mindfulness, meditation, and somatic techniques. When appropriate, I also welcome discussions of spirituality and existential meaning.I am deeply committed to serving the LGBTQ+ and transgender community and believe that therapy and wellness practices should be accessible to all. My goal is to create a supportive, affirming space where every person feels seen, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.

Personal

I am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community and live in Ocean Springs, MS, with my wife and our pets. I love international travel, summiting mountains, and caring for my growing collection of houseplants. Yoga and meditation are an important part of my daily life, and I enjoy introducing these practices to clients as tools for grounding, balance, and healing.
